Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are reportedly dating

Move over Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, there is a new odd couple in Hollywood that we are officially in love with. After years of being close friends (whut?!), Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are reportedly dating (huh?!). The initial shock has now worn off and we officially on board with this couple. Any surprise in 2021 that isn’t horrendously devastating is more than welcome.

People is reporting that the pair have been dating for a few months and are happy to be spending time together. "They're in Palm Springs together,” says a source. “They've been dating for about a month or two.” According to the source, Barker and Kardashian have “…been friends for a long time but it's turned romantic. Travis has liked her for a while.” This exciting news definitely deserves a drum solo, but we will leave the musical arrangements to the Grammy nominee.

Over the weekend, the 41-year-old reality star and 45-year-old musician were reportedly together in Palm Springs where Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner owns a home. Kardashian posted a picture of a pool at sunset and Barker shared a similar image on his Instagram stories.

Confirmation of the pair’s relationship (or at least a source confirming their relationship) arrives weeks after fans spotted the celebs having a flirty exchange on Instagram. The pair openly discussed their love of the film True Romance, prompting Barker to call Kardashian “so cool.” OMG he like, likes her-likes her, you know?

Kardashian later tagged Barker in a picture of her post-workout green juice. Kardashian also reportedly gifted Barker’s 15-year-old daughter the same Prada purse that she gave sister Khloe Kardashian for Christmas. The internet never forgets, which means if Kardashian and Barker are going to flirt openly, they know it’s going to be headline news. Yep, we are convinced this is the real deal.

The reaction to the new couple has been strong and mostly positive.

Kardashian and Barker both live in Calabasas, California and Barker has previously made appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Their pair were rumoured to be more than friends back in 2019, but Barker squashed the idea while speaking to E! at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. "She’s just a very dear friend,” said Barker at the time.

The new couple may seem like an odd match at first glance, but they do have some commonalities. Both are parents, with Kardashian sharing children Mason, 11, Penelope, 8, and Reign, 6, with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick. Barker shares his three children, including stepdaughter Atiana, 21, son Landon, 17, and daughter Alabama, 15, with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler. Barker has also dipped his toes into the reality TV world when he and Moakler starred in Meet The Barkers for two seasons from 2005 to 2006. As for Kardashian, she’s done an episode of reality TV or two…thousand.

The pair also share a commitment to working out and clean eating. Barker, who has been a vegetarian since his teen years, went vegan in 2008. Kardashian has also been a vegan for several years.

Plus, they really like organized closets, they just fill them differently.
