Cardi B gave her fans a look into her music videos' budgets, confirming that it isn’t cheap to keep us entertained. The 28-year-old rapper claimed that it cost $1 million to shoot the iconic music video for “WAP.”

On Wednesday, Cardi took to Twitter and shared the costs for many music videos, including “Money” which she said cost $400K, “Please Me” coming in at $900K and “WAP” costing a whopping one million dollars.

Cardi B and Meg’s collab set the internet on fire, from the “WAP” challenge on TikTok to Twitter being angry about Kylie Jenner’s appearance in the music video, and politicians were up in arms over the song’s lyrics. The video featured real snakes, celebrities and the steep price tag also showed in the quality of the visuals. The music video broke a record for the most views in 24-hours by an all-female collaboration on YouTube and set the record for YouTube's biggest United States debut. It's safe to say both rappers received a return investment on their one milli.

Cardi shared the budgets of other music videos including "Bodak Yellow," her first chart-topping single. "Fun fact: Bodak yellow music video cost me 15 thousand dollars," the rapper tweeted. "I was in Dubai and I said ....I gotta fly picture (videographer) out here ...BOOM BOOM BANG ! Ya know the rest. "

She also revealed Offset had a $40,000 wardrobe fee that forced her to go over her $15,000 budget for their 2017 sexy collab "Lick." In response to a fan asking about the "Lick" video budget, Cardi said, "I think like 15K. Offset had a 40K wardrobe fee for videos so I had to pay it out my pocket cause I didn’t wanna look like a small artist with a tiny ass music video budget .....I told him like a year later."

She said they shot the music video at a casino in a Holiday Inn in Jersey and she was embarrassed because "it look so low budget and [Off]Set was about to pull up and I barely knew him so I was so shy and when he kissed me on camera my heart sinked."

Cardi B also addressed the price for her "Bartier Cardi" video, which she said cost $150K. "I was pregnant so I was trying my best to conceal my tiny belly. I felt uncomfortable in the car cause I really wanted to be sexy with Offset but I was looking very pregnant so I didn't felt sexy I was looking fat," she tweeted.

Cardi also mentioned her "Clout" collab with her hubby and "Taki Taki" with Selena Gomez, Ozuna and DJ Snake. "CLOUT IS [Off]set video sooo that was his creative and budget.... TAKI TAKI I had fun but I was a lil off. It was my first music video after giving birth and my body was so skinny. I felt like it was my first day back at school but DJ SNAKE made sure I felt like a comfy princess." Love that for her.

When a fan asked her about Ozuna's "La Modelo" music video, Cardi said they shot in Jamaica and she knows the reggaeton superstar "spent a BAG" on it.

Cardi B has always been open and honest with her fans and this time we think she just taught us a math lesson with music videos.
